Jessica Cox is an inspiration to us all.
Time and time again, people with disabilities show us that the disability is more perceptual than real.
Due a birth defect, Jessica Cox was born without any arms.
The 30-year-old lives in Arizona and she is married to her former Taekwondo instructor.
She plays piano, drives a car and even flies a plane by using her feet. She was also declared the first person certified to fly an airplane with only their feet by Guinness World Records.
Now, she travels around the world, sharing her story and encouraging others that they can achieve anything.
Cox’s slogan states “Think outside the shoe.”
When Cox was a child, she studied dance. As she gained more confidence, Cox began Taekwondo.
She later went to college and earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. During this time, she took up martial arts again and became the first armless person to earn a black belt in the American Taekwondo Association.
