Venezuela's Vice President Nicolas Maduro would comfortably win a presidential election, according to a new poll.
But only if his boss Hugo Chavez steps aside because of his cancer. The first survey on such a scenario give Maduro 50 percent of votes, but if the incumbent remains in the race his popularity seems assured.
