Opulence En Vogue And On Display, Zang Toi's Fall 2013 Runway
  • 11 years ago
Designer Zang Toi's Fall 2013 brought the opulence of Imperial Russia to the runway at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York. Toi was inspired by a recent trip to Saint Petersburg where he was fascinated by the Peterhof Palace's Grand Ballroom. Toi's runway look exuded luxury and class. His models wore Zang Toi Precious Jewels by Amee Philips, inspired by the Faberge egg, made from 18K gold, amethyst and emerald. The jewelry brought a hint of seduction and glamor to an already impressive collection, filled with tones of sapphire, emerald, amethyst, and plenty of gold. Toi wowed the crowd with his stunning silhouettes cut from Loro Piano cashmere silks, Russian sable, Saga Royal Fur, and delicate embroidery.
