    by timesnowonline

Under scanner over his alleged role in chopper kickbacks scam, former Air Chief SP Tyagi told TIMES NOW on Wednesday (February 13) that he did not meet any of the middlemen or anyone from Finmeccanica while he was in office, the reports suggest that the Italian accused in the case have confessed to several meetings with the former Air Chief between February 2005 to December 2005. They have also alleged that it was Tyagi who modified specifications to suit AgustaWestland. They have confessed that in a meeting, former Air Chief Tyagi told them that the operative height of the aircraft was lowered from 18000 ft to 15000 ft.
