Unlikely duo Maroon 5 and Alicia Keys join forces on the stage of the 2013 Grammy Awards! Hey guys and thanks for tuning to ClevverMusic for all of your Grammy coverage. The performance started out pretty mellow with Adam Levine and the rest of the guys dressed in all black while performing their new single, "Daylight," but after mesmerizing the crowd on their own --- the guys were joined on stage by the always glamorous Alicia Keys for a duet of her hit song, "Girl on Fire."

Now we've seen Alicia on the piano before, and her voice obviously speaks for itself, but for tonight's performance Alicia switched it up by showing off ... her percussion skills? Strange, I know --- but Miss Keys took the stage in a sexy black dress complete with a number of sheer cutouts --- and rocked it out on a set of drums!

And with the rest of Maroon 5 backing them up on their instruments amidst a very simple and intimate set, Adam and Alicia definitely left it all out on the stage. They took turns harmonizing which gave the track a great new vibe. Alicia tweeted the day before the Grammys, "It's going to be a great show!" along with this pic of her and Adam rehearsing together.

So what did you guys think of this unusual duet!? Check out the link below to see the full performance and be sure to let us know what you thought of the performance! Did you like hearing Adam on Alicia's track? And are you bummed we didn't hear Alicia lend her vocals to "Daylight"?
