The Houston Rockets tied an NBA record with 23 threes in their 140-109 win over the Golden State Warriors on 2/6/2013. The Rockets went for 24 threes to be all alone with that record, which angered Warriors coach Mark Jackson. Draymon Green flagrantly fouled Patrick Beverley while going for that three, and Jackson instructed the Warriors to intentionally foul the Rockets to put them at the free throw line rather than let them have a chance at another three-pointer.
