7-Year-Old Takes Mom's BMW for a Drive official
A child steals her mom's BMW.
Kids driving in movies - cute and funny. In real life, not so much.
Recently, police in Pittsburgh responded after a worried mother contacted emergency dispatchers.
The woman’s elementary school aged daughter took the family vehicle without permission. The child ended up driving a half of a mile away from her home.
She finally stopped when she struck a pole. A law enforcement spokesperson claims that no one was injured during the ordeal, however a few other parked vehicles along the young girl’s route had sustained some damage.
She stole the keys to the car, a BMW while her mother was sleeping. The girl reportedly got behind the wheel so she could visit her father.
Last year, a 4-year-old boy in Sweden stole his mother's keys while she slept, hopped in her vehicle and drove the car almost one third of a mile before getting into a minor crash. The uninjured boy was taken back home by a local store employee.
Police officials were amazed, because not only did the child travel a decent distance, he also successfully made 3 right turns before smashing.
