At least 14 dead in Mexico blast

A blast at the headquarters of Mexico's state-oil company Pemex in downtown Mexico City has killed at least 14 people.

At least one hundred more were injured. Search and rescue teams are on the scene looking for survivors.

It's still unclear what triggered the explosion, although there are several theories. Local media say machinery inside the building may have exploded, an emergency worker on the scene says it was a gas leak, and still other witnesses say the blast came from a neighbouring building.

The priority now is to rescue the dozens still believed to be trapped inside.
