It's Thursday so we're recapping last night's American Idol. Thanks for tuning back in to ClevverMusic, here is your IDOL CAP for Season 12 auditions in San Antonio, Texas and Long Beach, California. We started the episode in San Antonio where one young blondie stole our hearts. His name is Papa Peachez and he works with the homeless in Mississippi and calls himself "a big black woman trapped in a little boy's body." Papa auditioned with an original song that we thought was amazing, check it out.

Nicki loved his audition saying "I think that you are a super star." Randy and Keith weren't convinced but Nicki fought for him to go on to Hollywood.

Over in Long Beach, the judges take over the famous Queen Mary ship for auditions and things get a little strange. We start those auditions without Nicki or Mariah because Nicki is rehearsing for the American Music Awards and Mariah is stuck in LA traffic. When Mariah finally shows up we can't help but get distracted by her chest for some reason, and in the midst we get a girl who thinks she can do a screamo version of Adele's "Set Fire To The Rain". Aside from that weirdness, the fire alarm goes off on the ship and everyone must evacuate, right in the middle of an audition.

After everyone is back safely, including Nicki, into the haunted ship we get two really inspiring auditions including 24-year-old Micah Johnson. In a freak accident he had his tonsil removed and they struck a nerve leaving him with a speech impediment. So how's his singing? Check out Micah singing Zac Brown Band's "Chicken Fried".

The judges loved him and of course he was sent through to the next round with four yeses. The last contestant Matheus Fernandes, 21 years old, whom was born short. Matheus has been seen on Oxygen's The Glee Project and now he's trying his hand at Idol. He serenaded the judges singing "A Change is Gonna Come". Check out how he brought Mariah to tears.

Did you notice Mariah and Nicki were actually sitting next to each other Day 2 in Long Beach? This is certainly progress. Tell us what your favorite audition from San Antonio and Long Beach was! Keep it right here on ClevverMusic for more IDOL CAPs every week. I'm Misty Kingma see you next time.
