Massive debate on juvenile law!

A massive debate has erupted over the Juvenile Justice Board's decision to declare the sixth accused as a minor in the Delhi gangrape and murder case. Political parties and activists have demanded that the juvenile accused, who was the most brutal amongst the six accused, be treated at par with the rest. The clamour is now also growing to amend the Juvenile Justice Act, with activists questioning how the 17-year-old can be let off so easily.
