Delhi gangrape: Juvenile Board declares accused as minor!

The sixth accused in the December 16 gangrape and murder case of a 23-year-old girl was declared a juvenile by the Juvenile Justice Board on Monday (January 28). The Board said that the teenage accused is minor. This means he won't face trial before special court and would be booked in Juvenile Justice Act and would he face a sentence for three years. The 23-year-old was attacked on a moving bus. After the attack, she was taken to Safdarjang Hospital, received multiple surgeries, and was placed on mechanical ventilation. On 26 December, she was moved to Singapore for further treatment, where she died on 29 December.
