The U.S. war in Iraq may be over but the fighting continues. Iraqi forces shot and killed four Sunni Muslim protesters in Falluja.

They had gathered to protest what they say has been ongoing mistreatment under the leadership of Shi'ite Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.

When the forces arrested three demonstrators for blocking the road, protesters torched one of their tanks . A witness reported that forces opened fire on the crowd.

By day's end, at least six people were dead and more than 52 wounded.
