Hey Little Monsters, we've got an update on the progress of Lady Gaga's upcoming album "ARTPOP" from her collaborative pal Zedd. Thanks for tuning back in to ClevverMusic with another music update. As any Little Monster knows, waiting for Lady Gaga to release her upcoming album titled, "ARTPOP" is not very fun. Mother Monster has not given us any details on the release of "ARTPOP" except that "she has a release date" according to a tweet to a fan.
Now, her tour mate, friend, and collaborative partner DJ Zedd has dished to MTV News some details about working with Lady Gaga on "ARTPOP". The EDM artist reveals first that he's done about ten songs for her, but he doesn't know how many if any will make it on the album. He guesses around five or so.

He then talks about the difference between working with British singer Ellie Goulding and Mother Monster saying, "I try to treat everyone the exact same way, because I think that will lead to the best results... but it was definitely hard to get used to sitting with someone who's probably the biggest singer on the planet and say, 'You know, I think you could do better.'" Zedd spoke about often encouraging Gaga to do more takes of a song to make it more emotional. Zedd vowed to be honest when working with Gaga and we're guessing Gaga really appreciated that.

And what about the release date? While he didn't speak directly about it he did say, "We've been working on it for over a year now. There's still a lot of work left, so we're definitely gonna work on this project for the next month." While the news isn't exactly what we'd like to hear we still know that "ARTPOP" will come out sometime this year and 2013 promises to be a huge year for Mother Monster. If you guys hear of any release date updates, let us know! Thanks for watching ClevverMusic, keep it right here for more album news, bye guys.
