Unfortunately, nothing at all is known about this American jazz band which seems to have recorded only one single side in 1926. Since it is playing a totally forgotten tune co-composed by Henry Troy, it is possible the band was led by him, but the label credits might just be a pseudonym made up for the occasion. Obviously, no visual material about this orchestra was available. Hence I included some sheet music of the composer of the music of this piece.

Thank you Olivier :-) Indeed, it is a mystery who these guys are but they are remarkable aren't they.

Thanks, Jack! Indeed, even if this were a studio band the performance is excellent. This recording is interesting both for rarely composition and orchestra.
