The rumors were true- Lady Gaga performed for President Obama at the Staff Inaugural Ball last night to cap off Inauguration weekend! Little Monsters and friends you're watching a ClevverMusic news update. The 57th Inauguration ceremonies happened this weekend in Washington DC and capped off with one final event Tuesday night, the Staff Ball. And likely the biggest treat of the night was a performance by Lady Gaga for the President, his family, and campaign staffers. Mother Monster has been a proud Obama fan constantly sharing her love for the POTUS on Twitter.

At the Staff Ball Gaga performed some of her hits like "Born This Way" and performed a piano version of her song "You & I" where she changed the lyrics singing, "Sit back down on the couch where we watched you win a second time before the Country" and "when your wife has that look on her face/ there's something, something about the cool Mr. President guy/ there's something about Obama you and I". Following that performance Gaga was joined by legend Tony Bennett for a duet of "The Lady Is A Tramp."

We were pleasantly surprised to see Gaga's outrageous outfits were back after her wearing tamer clothes as of late. This white dress had over the top bubble shoulder pads with a huge white skirt and the ensemble looked like a Gaga version of a wedding gown. She tweeted a cryptic tweet about her evening saying simple, "#whitehausball". Do you think the Obama staff are now Little Monsters?
