Brad Pitt is one of the biggest names in Hollywood, and whether you like him or not, he certainly works enough to earn that title. Deadline.com is reporting that Pitt may be interested in taking on a new biblical villian role, in Warner Bro's Pontious Pilate, as Pilate himself. Warner Brothers acquired the script written by Vera Blasi, who wrote the romantic comendy Woman On Top back in 2000, and the project is rumored to be produced by Oscar winning producer, Mark Johnson. This film might be kickoff of the many rumored biblical projects Warner Brothers might have in the pipeline. According to Deadline, the script is suppose to be really interesting and it has the epic feel of a Bravehart or a Gladiator, mixing history with a great balance of dramatic storytelling. It will follow Pontious Pilate's life from when he was a small child, through his military and political climb which led to the final decision of the death of Jesus Christ. You probably all saw Pitt in Killing Them Softly, which had some good reviews, and he has many projects in the works right now including Mark Fosters World War Z, Steve McQueens Twelve Years A Slave, and The Counselor directed by Ridley Scott. But, we want to know if you all think Pitt should be the one to tell Pontious Pilate's story? And, if not, who else would you want to be considered for the infamous bibical villian?
