The Directors Guild of America has announced their nominees for this year's DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement. Ben Affleck got a nod for his film "Argo," as did Steven Spielberg for "Lincoln." Other nominees are Kathryn Bigelow for "Zero Dark Thirty," Tom Hooper for "Les Miserables," and Ang Lee for "Life of Pi."
David R. Ellis has been found dead in a South African hotel room. The "Snakes On a Plane" director and former stuntman was reportedly working on a new film in the area with Samuel L. Jackson. "Where Are We Now?" is a mournful look back to the time he spent in Berlin in the 1970s with an accompanying video featuring black-and-white footage of the city when it was still divided. Bowie said the single will be followed by a studio album - his first since 2003.
