    Recipe to prepare "Paneer Pasanda":

    Ingredients:
    1. cottage cheese cubes (paneer) - 250 gms
    2. cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
    3. clove - 1 bud
    4. black pepper corns - 4
    5. brown cardamom - 1
    6. cinnamon - 1/4 inch
    7. garlic - 10 cloves
    8. ginger - 1 inch
    9. onion - 4 medium bulblets
    10. green chillies - 2
    11. turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
    12. coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
    13. red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
    14. tomatoes - 2 medium size
    15. cooking or refined oil - 2 tablespoons
    16. salt - to taste
    17. garam masala (seasoning) - 1/2 teaspoon
    18. dry-fenugreek leaves (crushed) (kasoori methi) - 2 pinches
    19. water - 2 tablespoons
    20. coriander leaves - 1 stalk

    Procedure:
    1. for masala paste, mix and grind these ingredients:
    a. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    b. 1 clove
    c. 4 black pepper corns
    d. 1 brown cardamom
    e. 1/4 inch cinnamon
    f. 10 garlic cloves
    g. 1 inch ginger
    h. chopped onion (2 medium bulblets)
    i. 2 green chillies
    j. 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
    k. 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
    l. 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
    2. for tomato puree, grind 2 medium size tomatoes
    3. heat 2 tablespoons cooking or refined oil in a pan
    4. add finely chopped onion (2 medium bulblets), and saute until brown
    5. add the masala paste, stir and saute for few minutes
    6. add tomato puree
    7. add salt to taste and mix well
    8. cover the pan and let the dish cook for a minute
    9. add 1/2 teaspoon garam masala (seasoning)
    10. add cottage cheese cubes and mix well
    11. sprinkle 2 pinches crushed dry-fenugreek leaves and mix
    12. add 2 tablespoons water, cover the pan and cook for a minute
    13. uncover and add few coriander leaves for garnish
