Malala Yousfzai is released from the hospital in the UK.

The Fifteen-year-old advocate for girls education was gunned down by the Taliban in Swat Valley in early October.

The Pakistani High Commissioner to the UK says she has inspired people around the world.

SAYING:

"She has become an icon for every Pakistani - even the huge Diaspora we have, over 1.3 million, they all look to her as one of the persons who has bravely stood, despite her age against the Taliban's barbarism. She is determined to continue her missions. She said she is following in the footsteps of Benazir Bhutto."

She will be readmitted to the hospital in a few weeks for further treatment.

Malala's father said in October he was sure she would "rise again" to pursue her dreams.
