As the 23-year-old gangrape victim battles for her life in the ICU of Delhi's Safdarjung hospital, millions of people protested outside the Parliament which resulted in clashes between them and the police. But the political entities took this mass protest as an opportunity to show their zeal for the cause and made their presence felt. Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party too, staged protest in Mumbai and demanded the resignation of Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde and sought police reforms. Meanwhile, the BJP today stepped up the pressure in their demand for a special Parliament session.
