The Incredible India campaign, conceptualized initially by Amitabh Kant, launched by Ms. Ambika Soni, then Union Minister for Tourism, and Leena Nandan, Ministry of Tourism, has been a huge success in bringing in tourists to India, and increasing tourism revenues across all sectors. Various Television Commercials made by Wilderness Films India Ltd. have helped in the process, and WFIL won the National Tourism Award in 2008 and the Incredible India Award in 2007, for the best tourism films made in India.
