The World Famous DJ Skee Reviews & Unboxes The New Apple iPad Mini at the Skee Lodge in Los Angeles, California. Apple had said it won't enter the smaller tablet space. In fact, the late Steve Jobs even suggested it would never be on the company's radar. Yet here we are, and the iPad mini is very much a reality. DJ Skee showcases the features of the new IOS device and at just 7.2 millimeters, the iPad Mini is as thin as a pencil. It also only weighs .68 pounds, roughly the same as a pad of paper. The 7.9 inch display is slightly larger than 7-inch Google Nexus 7 tablet. It has a screen resolution of 1024x768, similar to the first two generations of iPad which doesn't feature the retina display.
While the larger screen doesn't sound like much, it does give the iPad Mini 29.6 square inches of display space compared to 21.9 inches in a 7-inch display. This really shows up browsing the web. The iPad Mini's screen capable of showing 49% more of a website when in portrait mode and 67% more in landscape.
So is it the best "mini" style tablet on the market? Is it a better buy than the Google Android Nexus 7? How does it compare to the IOS 6 iPhone 5? Watch the review and find out what DJ Skee thinks.
