On December 17 2010, a man called Mohammed Boazizi began a chain of events that led to the Arab Spring. A graduate, Boazizi struggled to find a job worthy of his qualifications and started selling fresh produce on the street. Harassed by police and he set himself on fire in protest. His death triggered a wave of protests against the regime of President Ben Ali, which soon spread to neighbouring countries. But 2 years on, the problems that led to the unrest - such as unemployment - remain.
