By 2030, a new study predicts future economic superpower.

A study on the global economic power structure predicts that by the year 2030, China will pass the United States as the world’s economic super power.

The United States will remain a top global power, but no longer number one.

The report states: "China alone will probably have the largest economy in the world, surpassing that of the United States a few years before 2030 … Asia will have surpassed North America and Europe combined in terms of global power, based upon GDP, population size, military spending, and technological investment."

After four years of intelligence gathering and analysis of global trends by the National Intelligence Council, the new report predicts markets for countries worldwide, including a list of countries that are at a “high risk of state failure,” like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Rwanda, Yemen, Somalia, Burundi and Uganda.

Another prediction made by the report is that the majority of the world’s population will not be living in poverty for the first time in history, but the balance of this upward mobility is delicate and can be threatened by a lack of access to natural resources.

Do you think that China will have the largest and most powerful economy in the coming years?
