An Italian pensioner who has claimed benefits of 1000 euros a month for being blind since 2005 has been caught on film by police playing cards and giving directions to tourists in his home town of Vignola. Police have seized 92,000 euros from his bank account, and if he is convicted, he faces five years in jail.
