The new space crew with astronauts from Russia, the U.S. and Canada said they were ready for their flight to the International Space Station (ISS).
The head of the Russian Cosmonaut Training Center, Sergei Krikalev said on Thursday (November 29) the crew had passed all their exams and would soon be travelling to Kazakhstan to prepare for take-off.
Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield said he was looking forward to commanding the space ship.
"For me personally it is of course the time that I'm going to be asked to command is for me personally a very important part of my life and the reason we've prepared so hard and one of my great motivations has been to prepare and to have the opportunity to command the space station," Hadfield said.
The three crew members have been training for their mission for over four years.
They will join their colleagues at the ISS later in December 2012.
