Ray had a great show. I'm happy that some of them can still be heard on WGBH or the Internet. I first started listening back in the 70s while driving back from ski weekends in NH on Sunday nights when having an FM radio in the car was still a big deal. They helped make the time pass quickly.

Thanks Patrick and Blakie.Blakie,I checked out your great site but did not come across the show on Irving Kaufman.Patrick,of the 15 or so Cameos I'm uploading,Irving must be the vocalist on most of them.

Although I wash't the biggest Kaufman fan, over the years his vocals grew on me. This is quite a pleasurable refrain and it is a lovely song. Thanks for sharing!

Blakie,I once had a list of Irving's many pseudonyms,my favorite was Pierre La Du sch.An RCA Red Seal executive who was Irving's Florida neighbor said after Irving passed away the grandchildren dumped All records not saying "Irving Kaufman".on the label. I would have enjoyed that PBS program on Irving.
