Bangladesh blames sabotage for factory fire

Bangladeshi officials inspect the Tazreen textile factory where the country's worst-ever industrial blaze broke out on Saturday, killing 111 workers and injuring more than 150.
The officials say the deadly fire was the result of sabotage.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) BANGLADESH HOME MINISTER MOHIUDDIN KHAN ALAMGIR SAYING:
"On the basis of the preliminary inquiry, we have come to the conclusion that this is an act of sabotage."
Protesters have taken to the streets for a second day and garment factories across the country have stopped work in a national day of mourning.
At a girls' school near the factory, students wear black ribbons.
One girl says that they lost the mother of one of their classmates in the blaze, along with many others in the community.
Working conditions at Bangladeshi factories are notoriously poor, with little enforcement of safety laws.
At least 500 people have died in garment factory accidents in Bangladesh since 2006.
