The Pittsburgh Steelers will travel in AFC north divisional play as they face the Cleveland Browns in an NFL pro football game on Sunday afternoon. Kick off time from Cleveland is scheduled for 1PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by CBS.

The betting odds opened with the road team Pittsburgh Steelers favored by -1 ½ points with an over under line of 34 ½ points. Early money has shown on the home underdog Browns as the game is now lined as a pick. The over under has moved down a ½ point to a current number of 34 points.

This is the first of two regular season meetings between the Browns and Steelers. Last year Pittsburgh won both games but Cleveland covered the spread as a sizable underdog in each game. NFL Trend: Pittsburgh Steelers are 5-0 to the under in their past five games.

Pittsburgh fell to 6-4 on the season following a 13-10 home loss last week to the Baltimore Ravens as a +3 point underdog. The total went under 40 ½ points. The Steelers put up 199 yards of offense with 134 from their ground attack on 27 rushes. They turn it over three times and took none from Baltimore. Byron Leftwich hit on 18 of 39 passes for 199 yards and a pick. Leftwich and Ben Roethlisberger are both injured so veteran Charlie Batch gets the start. Batch has started three games the past two seasons and has three touchdowns and four picks altogether. Pittsburgh allowed Baltimore 200 offensive yards with 47 coming on the ground on 23 rushes. The Steelers will lean heavily on their number one ranked defense that surrenders just 259 yards a game and are 4th in points allowed at 19 points. The Steelers currently occupy the fifth seed as a wildcard entry in the standings at 6-4 and hold a one game lead over Cincinnati.

Cleveland has lost two straight and enters play at 2-8 on the season. They come off the 23-20 road overtime loss last week against the Dallas Cowboys as a +7 point underdog. The total went under 43 ½ points. The Browns blew a 13-0 lead at the half in the loss. They allow 17 fourth quarter points to Dallas that allowed the comeback. Cleveland posted 311 offensive yards with 119 coming from the ground on 33 attempts. Brandon Weeden hit on 20 of 35 passes for 210 yards with two touchdowns. On the year the rookie QB has 11 touchdowns and 12 picks. Cleveland allowed Dallas to amass 320 offensive yards with 63 coming from their ground attack on 21 carries. The Browns really struggle for offense as they are 27th in the league in total offense with 311 yards gained per game.
