Alexis Korner - I'd Rather Go Blind

il y a 5 ans380 views

Considered the father of British rhythm and blues, Alexis Korner’s influence on a generation of musicians should never be underestimated. Robert Palmer, Eric Burden, Paul Jones and Eric Clapton are just a few of the names who can thank Korner for a leg-up on the musical ladder. This superb concert performance celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Marquee Club in London and recorded as part of the “Live From London” series, is testament to Korner’s talents and pulling power as he is joined on stage by some famous friends including Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts, Ruby Turner to name but a few. Tracks include How Long Blues, Blue Monday, Hoochie Coochie Man and many more.!
