    Little legal action disturbs Pakistani military Generals

    Who is more powerful in Pakistan, the independent judiciary or the army which ruled over the country more than the elected governments. Both are struggling hard to prove themselves more powerful over the other. The popular judiciary begins to assert its constitutional authority over the army by ordering the legal action against the retired military Generals for manipulating national elections in early 90s and questioning the role of military run intelligence agencies for allegedly kidnapping and torturing thousands of people under the cover of so-called war on terror.
