Actress Diane Kruger Lights Up Paris For The Holiday Season

The City of Lights shone a little bit brighter on Wednesday (November 21), as German actress Diane Kruger flicked the switch to illuminate Paris' most famous boulevard for the holiday season.
Along the length of the chic Champs Elysees avenue, hundreds of onlookers gathered to watch the avenue's 200 trees glimmer and shine as hundreds of LED hoops rhythmically projected neon lights in the annual light display.
The trees, decked out with three LED hoops each, glowed red, purple, gold and white.
Kruger, accompanied by Paris’ Mayor, ceremonially waved her hands over the on switch.
She joined a list of French stars like Marion Cotillard who had previously been in charge of the lighting celebration.
The Champs Elysees' Christmas lights will be on display nightly until January 10.
