Serial Imposter Obsessed With People Carrying Each Other

A serial imposter allegedly impersonates a journalist and wants people to carry each other.

How much do you like to see people carrying each other? Probably not that much.

But for approximately 40 years, 68-year-old Gary Medrow has had this bizarre obsession.

He wants people to carry each other or physically pick one another up.

In the past, he chose to tell unsuspecting souls that he was a police officer or investigator, but in his newest plot, he was a photojournalist.

He reportedly called two high school girls and set a date for a photo shoot where he wanted one female to hold the other on her shoulders. His new scheme brought on legal charges of disorderly conduct and telephone harassment, however he has a long rap sheet of similar crimes, involving more cheerleaders lifting each other and business employees carrying their co-workers around the office.

There are many other examples of strange impersonations. Earlier this year, a trial took place for Matthew Scheidt, who was facing charges of impersonating a physician assistant and practicing medical care without a license in Florida.

He was also accused in Miami Beach of impersonating a police officer.
