Rihanna Navy and Barbz rejoice, your girls came out with brand new albums today! Hey guys, welcome back to ClevverMusic. Hot off their AMA wins last night, Rihanna put out her seventh album, "Unapologetic" today, and Nicki Minaj brought us "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded -- The Re-Up" today.

In typical Rihanna fashion, "Unapologetic" delivers us a mix of Pop / R&B and has some definite hits. Teaming up with David Guetta for a second time, "Right Now" is a great dance track that is probably going to end up being one of her singles. She also rejoins Eminem on the track "Numb" which has a relaxed, island feel. And as the name says, Rihanna is definitely unapologetic in some of her lyrics. In the collaboration with Chris Brown, "Nobody's Business," they address their relationship and it is clear that no matter what, they still have love for each other and everything else we may want to know is just between them. In the bonus track "Half of Me" she sings "You saw me on a television. This is the life I live and that's just the half of it." I think she's trying to send a message here -- stop writing about her life!

As for Miss Minaj, she added eight new songs to her already reloaded album, Nicki's "Re-Up" is more of the same from her. The first disc features the new songs like the super catchy "Freedom", which she performed at the AMAs last night, and the second disc holds the original "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" tracks.

Nicki has recently been criticized by fans for being too Pop, but maybe this album is a peek into what is to come from her third album. It features Lil Wayne, Tyga, Ciara, Cassie, and Parker in songs that lean more toward Hip Hop/Rap, but still have flares of Pop in them.

Both are sure to be hits, but which will you be checking out? And do you think dueling album releases will create any beef between the two? Let us know in the comments below and be sure to subscribe for all the latest in music news! I'm Misty Kingma, thanks for watching.
