McKinley High Glee Club goes Glease and we're recapping what you missed! Here's your Glee-Cap! The show starts with moody Cheerios leader Sue Sylvester trying to get Finn kicked out as new Glee club teacher, because she's mad he called her baby "retarded".
Over in NYC at NYADA we pick up Rachel in dance class where she asks Brody to help her rehearse for her first Off-Broadway audition which is very exciting.
At McKinley High Sue kicks out the Grease play rehearsals from the auditorium so they rehearse in the only place they can- Finn's Dad's auto body shop. Standing on cars the boys in the play sing "Grease Lightening" in the perfect greasy setting. Newcomer Ryder takes the lead as Danny and it's a fantastic musical start to "Glease".
The devilish head Cheerio Kitty holds a slumber party for the girls in the Grease play to get to know one another better. Kitty tries to sabotage Marley who stole the Sandy role from her- by trying to get her to purge her food, but she doesn't fall for it.
Unique's parents aren't happy she's playing Rizzo in the play, and demands she dress like a boy at school, so Finn calls in graduate Santana to fill the role at the last minute.
Opening night is is finally here and Rachel and Kurt show up the musical to support their McKinley High pals annnnd their exes: Finn and Blaine.
The play starts with Blaine singing "Beauty School Dropout" followed by Marley singing "Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee" after Kitty convinces her to puke up her lunch. Santana channels Rizzo and appropriately sings "There Are Worse Things I Can Do".
Backstage, Marley and Ryder are clearly starting to fall for each other, and that's convenient cause their playing Sandy and Danny in the play. They kill it with their sexiness when they sing "You're The One That I Want".
Rachel finds out dance teacher Cassie July told her to go to McKinley High's play so she could seduce Brody, who actually likes Rachel. Rachel officially ends it with Finn realizing they need to end all contact. Finn and Blaine also agree its officially dunzo between them.
