'Transformers 4' Casting Search Begins official

A handfull of up-coming stars are gearing up for their Hollywood final exams this week, as testing begins for the much talked about Michael Bay project, Transformers 4. Michael Bay is looking to cast a male and female lead to star alongside academy award nominee and leading man, Mark Wahlberg and those roles will be that of his daughter in addition to the daugher's race car driver, boyfriend. Both roles up for grabs are also expected to be expanded on in subsequent movies. So, who are the front runners?
Well there are about 10 or so names that have been buzzing around. For the ladies it looks like there are four front runners vying for the female lead and they are Isabelle Cornish who is a TV actress, and sister to Australian Limitless star Abbie Cornish , Also Nicola Peltz who you may remember from the paramount movie, The Last Airbender. Margaret Quallay, who you may not have heard before but is the daughter of Andie McDowell so she's bound to have some genetic acting chops, and last but not least is Gabriella Wilde who will be starring in the new Carrie Movie coming out in 2013.
As for the gentlemen? Well Luke Grimes who played Jamie in Taken 2 is a front runner. Landon Liboiron who will be starring in Hemlock Grove the new Netflix series is another option. Then there's Australian actor, Brenton Thwaites who you might know from Blue Lagoon: The Awakening. The fourth name being thrown around is that of Jack Reynor who is a bit of a new kid on the block, but is starring in the upcoming Vince Vaughn film, The Delivery Man and last but not least is Hunter Parrish, who is best known for his role on Showtime's Weeds.
No matter who Bay chooses, both of these roles are likely to be career boosters for any actor involved and getting a chance to work with Wahlberg and Bay together is likely to be an interesting combo.
