Madonna fans got a lil K-Pop surprise last night at her MDNA Concert show in New York City- and it's a good one. Hey guys, you're watching your music news on ClevverMusic. So last night Madonna stopped in NYC at Madison Square Garden for a show and gave the audience a taste of Korean Pop artist Psy during one of her songs. Psy is known in the US for his viral video "Gangnam Style", and was seen just days ago in Frankfurt, Germany at the MTV Europe Music Awards where he performed and won an award for "Best Video".
In NYC last night while Madonna innocently sang "Give It 2 Me" Psy trotted out to shock the crowd of 20,000 people. Madonna screamed her lyrics "No one's gonna stop me!" and Psy in a sharp red suit entered with, "Are you ready NYC?!" Madonna's song stopped and the two went into his now famous dance moves to "Gangnam Style". Madonna hilariously imitates his moves and she's not too bad at them- but of course Psy is the master of the dance.
His little cameo at the show was clearly planned, and after some dancing he starts singing his hit song "Gangnam Style" and Madonna takes her position dancing between his legs, and then she between his! Later they transition into a mashup of "Gangnam Style" and then her song "Give It 2 Me" followed by a rendition of Madonn's 2000 song "Music".
Madonna tried to cheer up the crowd in New York, recently devastated by Hurricane Sandy by bringing Psy on stage and later in the show encouraged people to throw money on stage to help the relief. Madonna admitted during their performance, "I'm a very big fan of yours. I've never been to Korea -- hope to come there one day."
