Wonder to honor Dick Clark at AMAs

Stevie Wonder will perform a tribute to the late Dick Clark at the 40th annual American Music Awards. The award show was created by Clark, who died from a heart attack in April.

Wonder first shot to fame thanks to appearances on Clark's show, "American Bandstand" - the series that helped launch modern pop music.

And he's no stranger to the AMAs - having taken home eleven of the awards throughout his extensive career.

Wonder will join previously announced performers, including Christina Aguilera, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj.

The AMAs will be held in Los Angeles on November 18.
