The second part of Nicki MInaj's E! TV special aired on Sunday and she's firing back at her idol Barbara Walters and telling us what really happened that fateful day with Mariah Carey on set. You're tuned in to ClevverMusic yeah! The second installation of "Nicki Minaj: My Truth" TV series aired on E! Sunday night, and we picked up at Nicki's music video shoot for "The Boys" song where we met her bestie of 20 years- Tyesha.
Following, fans got to witness renowned choreographer Laurieann Gibson prepping Nicki for her tour- just seven days away. The stress of rehearsing for the tour was mixed with the chaos of recording a new song with Lil Wayne who she loves dearly. "Lil Wayne is my heart and my soul, love him love him love him. I would eat him for breakfast, lunch, and dinner."
But would she gobble up Mariah Carey? The question still remains where Mariah and Nicki stand after Nicki's explosive fight with Mariah on the "American Idol" set while filming Season 12 auditions recently. In this episode Nicki addressed the over-the-top feud and how TV host Barbara Walters let her down. Nicki expressed her love for Barbara but was disappointed when Barbara didn't call to ask for her side of the story before interviewing Mariah on "The View". "Am I not good enough for you to get my side, because I'm a little black girl that raps?" We're not sure still why Barbara didn't call, but next time she'll call Nicki maybe?
Regarding the fight itself Nicki admitted it was "passive aggressive shit" that prompted her blow up at Mariah. Twenty minutes prior to her remarks that were leaked online, Mariah had egged her on and she had walked out. The second time it was another jab, Nicki couldn't keep her mouth shut.
Despite the conflict, Nicki still remains that she looks up to iconic singer Mariah but will not let anyone "run her off the show". Who's side are you on?
