NYC Artist Jeremy Penn was invited down to Mexico to paint for the Mayan Parade, a global art exhibit celebrating the rebirth of Mexico. Jeremy Penn and other artists from around the world will be painting the sculpture of the Mayan Emperor Pakal. The painted Pakals will be exhibited around the world.
Jeremy Penn's concept was to blend the old with the new through his art. Penn planned on painting one of Mexico's most famous Pop Icons, Maria Felix, on top of Mexico's most famous ancient Icon, Pakal.
