The UnderGround, a dance and social club specifically designed for middle and high school teens, will have its premiere event on Friday, Nov. 2, from 7-11 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.
A joint effort between Bel Rae Ballroom and Belmont Lanes Bowling Center, the event will feature a high energy dance party, music video screen, bowling, game room and more at the Belmont Plaza off Weaver Pike.
The UnderGround experience is open to teens ages 13-19, and admission is $10 at the door. Admission includes two games of bowling and shoe rental.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and each week will feature a different menu special, with entree, chips and drink for only $5.
Bel Rae Ballroom Operator Sally Dodson says, "Our Night Spot is specifically designed to shatter boredom and give students a place to enjoy. It's a safe environment where teens can dance, socialize, go bowling, play games and have fun with friends without parents worrying about what they're up to. We're excited to host parties every Friday night."
The events will be fully chaperoned with controlled access and entry.
