Apple CEO forces software division chief out official

Apple's CEO Tim Cook has pushed out the chief of their mobile software division Scott Forstall.

Forstall leaves following problems with the mapping software in the tech giants iPhone and iPad devices.

A long-time lieutenant of late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, his departure follows years of friction with other top executives.
