Paul the Octopus' successor made his public debut in Germany on Wednesday, but his keepers aren't yet promising any football insight from the youngster. The five-month-old, also named Paul, tentatively explored his new tank at the Sea Life aquarium in Oberhausen. The original Paul, who died of natural causes last week, correctly predicted the outcome of eight matches at the World Cup. Paul hails from near Montpellier in southern France and weighs nearly 10 and a-half ounces (300 grams). It isn't clear whether Paul the Second will also try his tentacles at forecasting.
