In part II of the Bayou Classic 4 Gallon Propane Fryer Review we will concentrate on the operation of the fryer. We will cover everything from safely positioning your fryer to draining and cleaning it. But first, as an overview, let me say that the 4 gallon Bayou Fryer exceeded my expectations.

It is a very stable unit with heating tubes that run horizontally in the middle of the fryer, so, the oil is hotter at the top of the fryer than at bottom. Loose batter or crumbs fall below the heat source where they will not scorch, keeping your oil cleaner and lasting longer.
