Neither Batman nor Joker: Putin gets serious on Larry King Live

Russian Premier Vladimir Putin has also been discussing the country's security policy. In an interview with American TV host Larry King, he says Moscow wants to become an equal partner in new plans for European missile defence - otherwise, it could lead to a new arms race. When asked about the latest wave of WikiLeaks, Putin said it was 'no catastrophe' because it was such a poorly-kept secret. However, he lashed out at the assessment of his relations with President Medvedev, saying the comparison to Batman and Robin was arrogant and unethical. Putin's interview airs on Wednesday evening in the U.S. - and he's likely to be the last statesman to appear on Larry King Live - as the veteran interviewer retires soon.
