Police suspect a street cleaner may have accidentally killed a man.

Street cleaners are a relatively common sight and you don't find them dangerous - do you?

Well, a man was recently discovered dead at a trash sorting facility in Tokyo. The Metropolitan Police Department believes that a street cleaning truck may have been involved in the accident.

The body was found on October 16th and the truck was on-duty during the evening of October 15 into the early morning hours of the next day, before delivering trash to the facility.

Police believe the body belongs to a 69-year-old man whose shoes and bloodstains were found on a street that the truck passed through.

The truck driver is being looked at for suspicion of negligent driving. It is believed that the male victim was caught in the vehicle’s roller while he was still alive.
Last year, another street cleaning truck was reportedly involved in an accident.

A 44-year-old bicyclist was killed in San Diego after a street sweeper, going in the same direction careered into the bike lane and struck the rider. The 77-year-old truck driver had fallen asleep at the wheel.
