Mega Yacht Mart was born out of a recent refit. In trying to locate obsolete items, (the boat was 40 years old) we discovered many captains had storage lockers filled with new and slightly used equipment that had been bought "just in case" or taken off their yachts over the years.
In the course of the refit much of the miscellany* taken off the yacht was going to be discarded. We decided if other captains had things we needed, and we had things they needed....there should be a clearing house, "a consignment shop" for these items.
