The strain's definitely showing in U.S.-Israeli relations - after President Obama called for a Palestinian state within 1967 borders in his Middle East policy speech. That comment has angered Israel's Prime Minister, who said it would make it impossible for his country to protect itself. Back in September, the issue of the Israeli settlements on the disputed territories stalled the peace talks with the Palestinians.
