Activists say Syrian forces have killed sixty-two people in raids across the country, mostly in Hama. It comes after government tanks stormed the volatile city, reportedly leaving dozens dead. On Friday, another violent crackdown is said to have claimed a further twenty-two lives across the country. Since the anti-government uprising swept Syria in March, activists say police violence has killed more than a thousand demonstrators.
