It's a fierce battle brewing between the Sports Ministry and country's richest sports body Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Sports Minister Ajay Maken's first attempt to control cricket in India was stalled and now the BCCI has fired a fresh salvo at Maken over a joint 80 crore fund created four years ago to bail out the cash starved sports ministry. TIMES NOW has accessed BCCI's latest reminder to the sports ministry asking them to furnish details of fund allocation. But sports minister haven't response to BCCI's query. Now, the BCCI has filed an application under RTI to know the status of the fund.
